Its hybrid construction combines a durable polyester-cotton ripstop torso with lightweight stretch fabric on the lower body and underarm areas. Why its built this way Two fabrics. Different jobs. The upper body uses a 65% polyester / 35% cotton 225 GSM ripstop fabric. Polyester provides durability, quick drying performance and shape retention while cotton adds natural softness and breathability. The ripstop construction helps improve resistance to tearing while remaining light enough for warm-weather use. The lower body uses a 92% polyester / 8% elastane stretch fabric. The high polyester content provides durability and quick drying while elastane adds the flexibility needed for unrestricted movement. This combination places the more durable ripstop fabric where additional structure is useful while using stretch fabric where mobility and comfort are more important. Built for warm-weather activity Gusseted underarms provide additional freedom of movement while allowing the garment to sit naturally during active use. The quick-drying fabric helps manage moisture during high-output activities while the materials antibacterial properties help reduce the buildup of unwanted odor during extended wear. Flatlock stitching helps reduce bulk and friction against the skin, making the shirt more comfortable during prolonged use. Teflon™ liquid-repellent treatment The upper fabric features a Teflon™ liquid-repellent coating by DuPont®. The treatment helps repel water, oils and other common liquids while also reducing the absorption of dirt and stains, making the shirt easier to clean and maintain.
